Away from the crowds and bustle of the tourist centres along the Algarve coastline,
the majestic, winding Guadiana River, which forms a natural border between Portugal
and Spain, flows between the very finest areas of natural beauty in Europe, perhaps
anywhere, affording an unbridled opportunity to sample two, unique cultures. The
blue of the river framed by the cool green of the riverside vegetation, of fertile
orchards and vegetable gardens. The dark ochre of hills as round as rolled pebbles,
flecked with colour by Cistus plants, Holm oaks and the occasional Olive tree. Houses
with walls of schist and baked mud white with the dazzle of lime huddled together in
hamlets lost among the hills.
Such contrasts are to be found in Alcoutim and the surrounding
municipality, where, even in mid-winter, thousands of almond trees burst into pale pink
blossom. There are open spaces whose natural beauty remains unspoilt, where a multitude
of wild flowers are to be found and a fascinating variety of bird species can be observed.
Amongst this PARADISE, you are cordially invited to partake in a unique and limited opportunity
to acquire an outstanding home along the Guadiana river banks at Verzea do Vinagre, Alcoutim.
A truly SECRET paradise........
Nestled on the very River bank itself at Varzea do Vinagre, the site is a 14,360 square metre,
(approximately), lush area, which will accommodate a minimum of EIGHT substantial size plots,
each having a superb and breathtaking view of the Guadiana river. Each plot will incorporate
a large Park Home of unsurpassable quality and luxury, specifically designed, built, furnished
and equipped to the clients preference and instruction. A large gardened area will surround
each of the homes along with access to an individual car port.
Additionally, the site will incorporate a large, luxurious swimming pool, together with
restaurant and bar facilities. At the very river's edge itself will be constructed a large,
personal Jetty affording mooring and embarkation/disembarkation facilities, for those who
wish to moor their own vessels or wish to be ferried to and from the site.
Access to the site is also provided via the main road, which will lead into a large, private car parking area.
